Premier League Betting & Odds

The Premier League is the most watched football league in the world, with top teams, iconic players and thrilling action across 380 games each season. At BoyleSports we bring you the best Premier League odds right across the campaign. Simply sign up for a BoyleSports account to bet on the Premier League with us.

Below you’ll find your definitive guide to Premier League betting. You’ll discover the top bets to make, how to read odds and where to find our betting offers and promotions.

How to Read Premier League Odds

At BoyleSports, you’ll see our betting odds displayed as fractional odds. An example of this could be Arsenal to beat Bournemouth at 2/1. At £10 bet on the Gunners to win would result in £20 winnings. You also get your original stake back for a total of £30.

For the same game, Bournemouth might have odds to win at 5/1. A £10 bet on the Cherries to win would result in £50 winnings and your original stake back for a total of £60.

With this example, Arsenal are the favourite and have shorter odds of winning – you’ll see this termed odds-on, as it means the bookmakers think it’s more likely to happen. As Bournemouth have longer odds, they’re viewed as the underdog. This is also called odds-against, as the bookmakers believe it’s less likely to happen.

You may also see odds displayed in a decimal format. It can be confusing at first, but is simple to understand. You just multiply your stake by the decimal odds. Decimal odds of 5.00 mean that a £10 bet would return £50.

How do I Bet on Premier League Matches

Betting on the Premier League with BoyleSports is simple. You’ll find all our available Premier League betting markets and odds on this page. You can make a football outright bet or choose from our selection of match betting markets.

Simply sign up as a new customer to receive a welcome bonus. Alternatively, you can log in to your existing BoyleSports account, choose your market, select your stake and place your bet.

Popular Premier League Betting Markets

Our Premier League match betting markets include:

Match Winner: This is the most straightforward bet, where you predict the final result of the match: a home win, a draw, or an away win. The bet is settled on the result after 90 minutes plus added time.

Both Teams to Score: A simple Yes/No bet on whether both teams will score during the match, regardless of the final result.

Goals Over/Under: Bet on whether the total number of goals scored by both teams will be over a specific number, such as 2.5 goals.

Draw No Bet: Bet on either a home or away win. If the match ends in a draw, your stake is returned to you.

Double Chance: The option to bet on two of the three possible match outcomes, for example home win and draw.

Half-time/Full-time: You predict the outcome at both half-time and full-time. An example is "Draw - Chelsea". With this bet, the game must be a draw at half-time and Chelsea must win at full-time.

To Win To Nil: Not only must your chosen team win, but they must do so without conceding a goal.

First Goalscorer: Bet on a specific player to score the first goal of the match.

Last Goalscorer: Bet on a specific player to bag the final goal of the encounter.

Anytime Goalscorer: Back your chosen player to hit the back of the net at any time during the match.

Premier League Outright Betting

Outright betting is one of our most popular betting markets. The simplest Premier League outright bet is on the team to win the title at the end of the season. You can bet on the Premier League winner at BoyleSports, with outright odds available from the start of the campaign to the final fixture. The odds change throughout the season in line with the performances on the pitch and the teams’ positions in the league.

Other outright markets include:

Relegation: Bet on a team or teams to finish in the bottom three places and get relegated to the Championship. You’ll find Premier League relegation odds at BoyleSports from the start of the season until relegation is confirmed.

Top 4 Finish: Bet on a team to finish in the top four and secure Champions League football for next season. The top four race is unbelievably competitive, with at least seven teams believing they have what it takes to make the promised land.

Top Half Finish: Bet on a team to finish in the top half of the table. This is a good bet for predicting a surprise team to have a strong season, like Nottingham Forest in 2024/25.

Golden Boot: Back a player to finish top of the goalscoring charts at the end of the season. Recent winners include Mo Salah and Erling Haaland, with both players no doubt fancying their chances again this season.

Golden Glove: Back the keeper to finish the season with the most clean sheets.

You can even bet on major transfers and managerial changes.

In-Play Premier League Betting

With live In-Play betting, you bet once the match kicks off.

The Premier League is one of the most exciting football leagues in the world, with even the sides at the bottom of the table able to spring a surprise and beat the top teams. In-play betting brings an added layer of excitement and allows you to bet on the match as the drama unfolds on the pitch.

Popular In-Play bets include Final Score, Half-Time Score, or the next player to hit the back of the net. We’ve even got live odds on corners and cards. It’s up to you to analyse the ebb and flow of the game and use this to inform your betting strategy.

With our Cash Out feature you can settle your bet before the match ends to claim some of your winnings.

Premier League Bet Builders

With our Bet Builder tool, you can create a unique custom bet by combing up to five selections from a Premier League encounter into one single bet. Markets include Match Result, Handicap, First Goalscorer, Total Goals, Both Teams To Score, Correct Score, Total Corners, Team To Take Most Corners and To Win To Nil.

An example would be betting on the Manchester derby. You could back Manchester United to win, Both Teams to Score, and a specific player like Erling Haaland to score at any time within a single bet.

Premier League Betting Promotions

You’ll find exclusive betting promotions and offers for Premier League game weeks, throughout the season at BoyleSports. Look out for the likes of Price Boosts on goalscorers, Enhanced Accas for weekend fixtures, and Free Bet offers.

Simply check out our sports betting offers and you’ll see all our current football offers and promotions.

Using Stats to Inform your Bets

Before you bet on the Premier League, it’s important to inform your betting with data and stats. Consider:

Team form and performance: Look at the form of the two teams going into a Premier League match. How have they performed recently? Have they found form just at the right time or are they going through a sticky patch?

Head-to-head records: The form book can go out the window when certain teams go head-to-head. Is it a bogey team or one they always seem to turn up against?

Home and away advantages: Home advantage can often play a big part, especially when the smaller sides come up against the big boys.

Injuries and suspensions: Even the big teams can struggle when their star player is out injured or suspended.

Visit the BoyleSports blog for our Premier League betting tips and predictions for the latest round of fixtures. We provide key stats and expert betting insights, whether you’re betting on the outright winner or a specific Premier League fixture.

Premier League 2024/25 Recap

The 2024/25 season was one for the history books, with Liverpool clinching the title with four games to spare. Arsenal secured a hard-fought second place, while Manchester City and Chelsea rounded off the top four.

The chase for the coveted Champions League spots was highly contested and went right to the final day of the season. Newcastle narrowly missed out on the top four but secured their place in the Champions League due to the extra spot allocated to the Premier League. Despite pushing all season for a top four finish, Nottingham Forest eventually finished seventh with Aston Villa in sixth.

At the other end of the table, Southampton, Ipswich and Leicester City faced relegation, with all three promoted clubs heading straight back to the Championship.

Premier League: Past & Present

The Premier League was formed in 1992, breaking away from the Football League structure and creating its own top division. Manchester United won the inaugural title and dominated throughout the 1990s with the era of Eric Cantona and the Class of 92. Under Sir Alex Ferguson, United won 13 Premier League titles from the first season in 1992/93 to the Scot’s final campaign as manager in 2012/13. They secured a famous treble in 1999.

During that time, United’s dominance was punctured by Arsene Wenger’s Arsenal and their Invincibles, Jose Mourinho’s Chelsea and Manchester City. City have gone on to be the dominant force under Pep Guardiola, claiming a historic four titles on the bounce and winning a treble of their own.

Since the start of the Premier League, we’ve seen some incredible players who have defined the league, including Eric Cantona, Cristiano Ronaldo, Thierry Henry, Steven Gerrard, Harry Kane, Wayne Rooney, Kevin de Bruyne, and Didier Drogba. Today’s stars like Mo Salah, Erling Haaland and Cole Palmer continue to create their own legacies.

Who are the favourites to win the Premier League?

When it comes to the favourites to win the Premier League, it often helps to look at the current champions and recent teams that have taken the title. Liverpool won the Premier League in 2024/25 while Manchester City have been the team to beat in recent seasons. Arsenal will also be hoping to finally claim their first title since 2004.

What are the odds for the top 4 finish in the Premier League?

Many punters continue to back the three teams promoted from the Championship to go straight back down. In both 2023/24 and 2024/25 the three promoted teams all were relegated. Although before the last two seasons, this hadn’t happened since 1997/98. You can see all our relegation odds on our outright Premier League betting page.
